Craft Your Dragonling
Use your Engineering profession to craft the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling. If you prefer not to level Engineering, the pet may also be available on the Auction House from other players.
Check Your Pet's Rarity
Crafted and vendor pets can roll any rarity — common, uncommon, or rare. This pet commonly comes out as uncommon (green quality), so if you want a higher rarity you may need to craft multiple copies.
Use Against Magic Opponents
As a mechanical pet, the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling has a 33% resistance to Magic damage, and its dragonkin abilities deal 50% bonus damage to Magic pets, making it one of the strongest choices when facing Magic-type opponents in pet battles.
Exploit Explode for Power Leveling
If you use this pet through an entire wild pet battle and finish the opposing team's last pet with its Explode ability, your two back-line low-level pets will each receive a share of the XP without ever needing to be swapped in.
Tips
Dragonkin abilities on this pet deal 50% bonus damage to Magic pets, so pairing it against Magic-type opponents maximizes its damage output.
Finishing a wild pet battle by using Explode on the last enemy pet lets your two back-line pets split XP without being exposed to any risk during the battle.
