Head to Whispering Forest
Travel to the Whispering Forest in Tirisfal Glades, which requires a flying mount to reach. Look for the large lake on your map and head into the mountains just south of it — level 1 Bats spawn throughout this area.
Watch for the Aggressive Bear
There is a single level 85 aggressive bear in the Whispering Forest area. It is the only hostile creature there, so avoid it while hunting for Bats to battle and capture.
Use Bat in Aquatic Zones
Once captured, the Bat excels against wild Aquatic pets using Reckless Strike, and can handle Critters with Bite and Screech. Zones like Valley of the Four Winds and Jade Forest are ideal places to bring her into battle.
Tips
Bats can also appear as secondary or tertiary battlers in Mount Hyjal, though primary capturable spawns there have only been found in one cave and have not been confirmed as capturable.
