Wait For Winter Season
The Snowy Owl only spawns in Winterspring between December 22 and March 19. Outside of these dates, no owls will appear regardless of weather or server conditions.
Travel To Winterspring
Head to Winterspring and begin searching across the zone. Confirmed spawn locations include areas at 58.2, 89.03, at 78.6, 61.6, at 49.4, 61.8, at 37.4, 62.1, at 49.3, 48.5, at 62.9, 55.9, and dozens of additional points spread across the zone such as at 34.4, 49, at 41.2, 49.6, at 44, 49.2, at 52, 49, at 47, 59.2, at 40.8, 56.6, and at 64.8, 55.8.
Kill Critters To Trigger Spawns
Owls spawn at the start of the winter season exactly at midnight server time and respawn over time. In a single area, kill all critters and battle pets you find — after clearing around 12, a Snowy Owl, potentially a rare quality one, can fly down and appear in that same spot.
Expect Long Respawn Timers
Snowy Owls do not appear as secondary pets in battles, so you must find and engage them directly. Respawn timers are long, and on high-population servers spawns are taken quickly — checking in the early morning around 6am server time has shown new respawns appearing after the initial midnight wave.

Snowy Owls are not tied to weather conditions — they spawn based solely on the winter date range between December 22 and March 19.
Rare quality Snowy Owls can spawn, including one reported on a hilltop overlooking Everlook at 49.3, 48.5.
