Gather Required Materials
To craft the Mechanical Squirrel Box, you need 
Copper Bars (one is used to make a 
Handful of Copper Bolts) and two 
Malachite for the eyes. Engineering skill 75 is required.
Craft or Buy the Box
Once you have the schematic and materials, craft the Mechanical Squirrel Box to learn the pet. Since the pet can be caged and sold, both the box and the pet itself may be available from other players on the Auction House.
Tips
The Mechanical Squirrel Box is listed under Miscellaneous > Companion Pets on the Auction House, which is a less-browsed category, so it may be priced lower than the actual caged pet.
