Learn Gnomish Engineering
Lil' Smoky requires Gnomish Engineering to craft. You must be specialized as a Gnomish Engineer to learn the schematic and create this pet.
Craft Lil' Smoky
Once you have the Gnomish Engineering specialization and the required schematic, craft Lil' Smoky. Because the pet is Bind on Pickup, only the Engineer who creates it can use it, and the quality — Uncommon or Rare — is revealed when the pet is summoned rather than when it is crafted.
Tips
Lil' Smoky's Minefield and Sticky Grenade abilities have no cooldown, making them a strong combination in PvP against opponents who frequently swap pets — though forced pet swaps via abilities are needed to trigger Minefield in PvE, since a pet dying naturally will not activate it.
