Upgrade to Rare Quality
If you have a spare
Flawless Flying Battle-Stone or
Flawless Battle-Stone, you can use it on your Chi-Ji Kite to upgrade it to Rare quality. While it still cannot participate in pet battles, it will appear as Rare in your pet journal and its name will display in blue instead of green when summoned.
