Sand Scarab

Battle Pet· CataclysmTCGCritter type
Trading Card Game

Source: Trading Card Game. Easily mistaken for a common beetle, the sting of a sand scarab will quickly clear up the misconception should you be unlucky enough to be stung by... Critter type. An absolutely mediocre beetle, would not recommend spending more than a couple bucks on this unless you just like the look.

The Sand Scarab is a battle pet originally obtained as the common loot card from the World of Warcraft TCG expansion 'Tomb of the Forgotten,' and can also be acquired via Twitch Drops or the Auction House.

Guide awaiting review

1

Obtain the TCG Loot Code

The Sand Scarab comes from the 'Tomb of the Forgotten' TCG expansion as the 1-of-3 common loot card, released June 12th, 2012. The other loot items in this set are the Spurious Sarcophagus and the White Riding Camel. Codes can be purchased from other players or on the Auction House.

2

Redeem Your Code Online

Enter your loot card code at worldofwarcraft.com/misc/en/promotion.html to receive a in-game redemption code.

3

Visit Landro Longshot In-Game

Bring your in-game code to Landro Longshot in Booty Bay — he is located just down the path from where the boat docks, flanked by two goblin companions — to claim your Sand Scarab pet.

4

Cage the Pet to Trade

Once redeemed, the Sand Scarab is soulbound, but you can make it tradeable by opening the battle pet menu, right-clicking the pet, and selecting 'Put in Cage,' after which it can be listed on the Auction House.
