Ethereal Soul-Trader

The Soul-Trader Beacon comes from the Hunt for Illidan TCG expansion as a loot card from the Ethereal Plunderer card, found at a rate of roughly 1 per 363 booster packs. Booster boxes contain 24 packs and cost approximately $65 USD, making the average cost of obtaining this loot around $983 USD — alternatively, you can purchase the loot card directly from other players on secondary markets.

Once summoned, the Soul-Trader generates Ethereal Credits when nearby enemies are killed — head to the undead mobs at 85, 55, where high-density undead with very short respawn timers provide fast credit farming. Note that if mobs die too quickly in succession, the trader may miss crediting a kill while still animating the previous soul steal, so pace your kills slightly to avoid losing credits.

The Ethereal Soul-Trader sells the following items for Ethereal Credits: Ethereal Essence Sphere (50), Diluted Ethereum Essence (50), Ethereal Liqueur (25), Ethereal Mutagen (100), Soul-Trader's Head Wrap (1000), Soul-Trader's Bindings (500), Soul-Trader's Pauldrons (100), Soul-Trader's Waistband (250), Soul-Trader's Gloves (250), and Soul-Trader's Boots (250) — the full clothing set costs 2200 Ethereal Credits total. You cannot sell items back to this merchant.

Spending 100 Ethereal Credits on the Ethereal Mutagen transforms the Soul-Trader into a Flesh Beast, and Papa Hummel's Old-Fashioned Pet Biscuit can be applied while the pet is in its mutated Flesh Beast form. The Ethereal Liqueur gives you a chance to transform yourself into a Flesh Beast for 10 seconds.
