Unlock Protoform Synthesis
Before you can craft the Viperid Menace, complete the Protoform Synthesis quest to unlock protoform crafting research in Zereth Mortis.
Enter the Library Vault Cave
Travel to the Library Vault cave entrance in Zereth Mortis at 58.84, 77.15. The chest containing the Schematic: Viperid Menace is locked inside and cannot be opened until you activate the correct tablet.
Solve the Tablet Puzzle
Inside the cave there are multiple tablets — interact with each to receive a glowing rune above your character. The tablets are located at 58.95, 78.14 (Tablet #1), 58.51, 79.2 (Tablet #2), 57.92, 78.39 (Tablet #3), and 57.92, 78.85 (Tablet #4). You need to activate the correct tablet to unlock the chest; the correct rune has been the 'pause' rune found at Tablet #4 at 57.92, 78.85, though this puzzle may change.
Loot the Schematic
Once the correct tablet has been pressed and the chest is unlocked, open the chest inside the cave to obtain the Schematic: Viperid Menace.
Craft at the Synthesis Forge
Bring the Schematic: Viperid Menace to the Synthesis Forge in Zereth Mortis, gather the required reagents, and craft your Viperid Menace.
