Guide awaiting review
Travel to Shattrath City
Take a level 70 or higher character to Shattrath City. A portal to Shattrath can be found on the lower floor of the new Dalaran hub.
Find Old Man Barlo
Head north-east from Shattrath to the lake and find Old Man Barlo at 38, 12. If you have not yet trained Fishing, he can teach you level 1 of the profession.
Accept the Crocolisks Daily
Barlo offers one of five possible daily quests each day — you need 'Crocolisks in the City' specifically. If he is not offering it today, return the following day and check again.
Fish in Stormwind or Orgrimmar
Travel to Stormwind (Alliance) or Orgrimmar (Horde) and fish until you catch the required quest item. Drop rates vary considerably between characters, so the number of casts needed differs each attempt.
Loot Toothy's Bucket
Upon turning in the completed daily quest, you receive a Bag of Fishing Treasures which has a chance to contain
Toothy's Bucket. During Burning Crusade Timewalking weeks, you can alternatively purchase the bag directly from Cupri in Shattrath for 150 badges.
Tips
Toothy has the highest speed stat (273) among the four crocolisk pets — higher than Muckbreath (260) and Snarly (244) — and matches Snarly's attack stat (305), making it the strongest offensive choice of the three for pet battling.
Toothy's breed is P/S (breed 8), which reinforces its speed-focused role in pet battles.
