Skittering Cavern Crawler
Drops from Mother Smolderweb. These arachnids use their razor-sharp legs to carve tunnels in the solid rock of the Blade's Edge Mountains. Beast type. It's not unusual to encounter these battle pets as secondary pets in battles, so they can be found fairly easily when fighting other pets in Blades Edge Mountains.
The Skittering Cavern Crawler is a wild battle pet found in Blade's Edge Mountains, capturable in the two spider-filled tunnels at the very south end of the zone leading from Zangarmarsh.

Travel to Southern Tunnels
Head to the very south end of Blade's Edge Mountains and locate the two spider-filled tunnels leading from Zangarmarsh. These are the only locations where the Skittering Cavern Crawler spawns.
Kill Non-Capturable Crawlers
Many crawlers in the tunnels will appear as non-pet critters without a paw print icon. Kill all non-capturable crawlers you find, as doing so causes capturable versions marked with a paw print to appear.
Battle as Secondary Pet
If you are also hunting the Scalded Basilisk Hatchling in Skald, fight Basilisks there as the Skittering Cavern Crawler frequently appears as a secondary pet in those battles, appearing roughly every 3 to 5 fights.
Tips
Grey-quality versions are common, so expect to fight through multiple battles before encountering a white-quality specimen.
