Shrine Fly
Source: Pet Battle. This species of insect is drawn to the latent energy in shrines, their luminescent appearance adding to the mystique of the places of power. Flying type. I found quite a few Shrine Flys flying around at the coordinates 36.58, both battle pets and normal critters.
The Shrine Fly is a wild battle pet from Pandaria, found in Jade Forest and can also appear as a secondary pet in certain battles.
Guide awaiting review
Farm Wild Serpent Hatchling Battles
If you are Exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serpent, battle Wild Serpent Hatchlings in Jade Forest — the Shrine Fly appears frequently as a secondary pet in these encounters, making this a more reliable method than fighting random Jade Forest pets.
Hunt on Isle of Thunder
The Shrine Fly also appears as a secondary pet in battles on the Isle of Thunder, giving you another zone to hunt for it.
Clear Pets and Critters
In Jade Forest, try defeating both battle pets and critters in the area to trigger respawns, as some of those respawns may be Shrine Flys — this respawn-clearing method has been reported to work when hunting other battle pets across Azeroth.
Tips
The Shrine Fly was previously missing from the pet journal but has since been corrected — if you captured one before the fix, you can now summon and battle with it.
