Sea Pony is a bind-on-pickup companion pet fished from the waters surrounding Darkmoon Island, available only during the monthly Darkmoon Faire event.

Travel to Darkmoon Island
The Darkmoon Faire runs once per month. During the event, speak with the Darkmoon Faire NPCs in either Elwynn Forest or Mulgore to take a portal to Darkmoon Island.
Fish the Darkmoon Boardwalk
Head to the Darkmoon Boardwalk at 74.6, 35.3 or the surrounding coastal waters at 17.54, 37.05 and begin fishing. The Boardwalk is a Sanctuary zone, so low-level players can fish here safely without PvP risk.
Cast Repeatedly for the Drop
The Sea Pony has an estimated drop rate of around 0.5%. Most players can expect to receive it within 200 casts (roughly 1 hour of continuous fishing), though some may land it in just a few casts. At 1000 casts (about 5 hours), the cumulative probability reaches 99.3%.
Tips
While fishing for the Sea Pony, you may also fish up a
