Unlock Protoform Synthesis
Before you can craft Prototickles, you must unlock protoform crafting by researching Protoform Synthesis and completing the Protoform Synthesis quest in Zereth Mortis.
Find the Schematic in Dimensional Falls
Travel to the Dimensional Falls subzone in Zereth Mortis and make your way to 53.60, 75.38, standing at the edge. Drop down onto the stone platform below, then jump to the next pillar where a tree's crown is visible — the 
Schematic: Prototickles is hanging among the leaves on a metal chain. Approach the edge of the pillar carefully and zoom your camera in to spot it clearly.
Gather the Required Reagents
Collect 450 x 
Genesis Mote, which drop from mobs throughout Zereth Mortis, and 1 x 
Glimmer of Discovery, obtainable from Helmix, Annelid Mudborer, Annelid Duneborer, or Sandskim Se.
Craft Prototickles at the Synthesis Forge
Bring the schematic and all reagents to the Synthesis Forge at 61.2, 58.9 in Zereth Mortis to craft your 
Prototickles battle pet.
