Complete the Pandaren Spirit Tamer Quest
Defeat the Pandaren Spirit Tamer to complete the quest and receive the
Pandaren Spirit Pet Supplies, which has a chance to contain the Pandaren Air Spirit.
Counter the Trainer's Pets
The Emerald Proto-Whelp using Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence, and Emerald Dream is an effective solo option against this trainer — dragonkin pets take reduced damage from all sources, and Emerald Presence further reduces incoming damage, while Emerald Dream provides a large heal to sustain through all of the trainer's pets.
Understand the Pet's Combat Role
At level 1 the Pandaren Air Spirit has 155 HP, 11 Power, and 11 Speed, and at rare level 25 it reaches 1400 HP, 260 Power, and 260 Speed; its moveset is mostly Flying-type with the exception of Arcane Storm, making it most relevant against Aquatic pets, though its overall niche use is limited.
