Buy Special Chicken Feed
Purchase 
Special Chicken Feed for 23 copper from William Saldean at 61.8, 57.5 in Westfall. Horde players can find an equivalent vendor in Brill.
Emote at a Normal Chicken
Target a normal, non-battle-pet chicken at 61.8, 57.5 in Westfall and repeatedly type /chicken until the chicken offers you the quest CLUCK. Using /chicken on a battle-pet chicken will never trigger the quest, so target only regular chickens.
Accept and Turn In CLUCK
Once the chicken offers you the quest CLUCK, type /cheer at the chicken, then carefully right-click it to turn in the Special Chicken Feed — be cautious not to accidentally attack the chicken instead of interacting with it.
Loot the Chicken Egg
After turning in the quest, the chicken will lay an 
Chicken Egg on the ground — loot it and click it to receive the Westfall Chicken companion pet. If the chicken dies before you can hand in, more chickens can be found at Solliden Farmstead.
Tips
Turn off your sound while spamming /chicken to preserve your sanity.
If you accidentally kill your chicken during the turn-in, abandon the quest and restart the process with another chicken at Solliden Farmstead.
Do not use or eat the Special Chicken Feed yourself before turning it in — the quest will fail to complete.
