Malayan Quillrat Pup

Locate pup groups in Valley
Search for Malayan Quillrat Pups in the Valley of the Four Winds, particularly near the Silken Fields just across the bridge from Halfhill. They spawn in groups of three or four, usually following a parent Malayan Quillrat.
Farm respawns for rares
Leave the adult mama Quillrats alive and only defeat the pups. New pups will respawn approximately every 5 minutes, allowing you to repeat battles and hunt for rare-quality specimens without traveling to find new groups.
Catch your pet
Battle the Malayan Quillrat Pup in a pet battle and capture it when weakened. They also appear as secondary pets in most battles throughout the Valley if you need additional chances.
