Craft as Alliance Enchanter
The Magic Lamp can only be crafted by Alliance enchanters. If you are not an Alliance enchanter, the pet may be available for purchase on the Auction House.
Farm a Rare Quality
The Magic Lamp can be crafted multiple times to obtain a rare quality version, though each craft may produce uncommon quality — this is working as intended and not a bug.
Level Pets in Vale
To level other pets using Magic Lamp, head to The Summer Fields in the northeastern part of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms near Mogu'shan Palace. Place your leveling pet first in your team, followed by Magic Lamp (using Arcane Blast, Gravity, and Wish), then a rare flying pet. Hit once with your leveling pet, then swap to Magic Lamp for the rest of the fight.
Tips
Magic Lamp's Wish ability heals for 25% more when Moonfire is active on the battlefield, making it an effective combo with a pet like the Emerald Whelpling.
Sear Magic on Magic Lamp removes debuffs from your active pet, keeping damage output consistent throughout a battle.
