Find the Schematic in Zereth Mortis
Travel to Zereth Mortis and head to at 58.41, 74.4 near the Untamed Verdure pool. Look toward the cliffs for a medium-sized metal orb, then look above it for a circular-canopied tree — the 
Schematic: Leaping Leporid rests on top of that tree's branch, on the mountain side. A Clutch Guardian patrols the opposite side of the large sphere beneath the tree.
Reach the Schematic
At 58.35, 74.35, use a flying mount or a mobility ability to reach the top of the tree branch where the schematic is located — it is elevated and requires flying or movement abilities to access.
Gather Required Reagents
Collect the following crafting materials, all tied to Zereth Mortis: 250 x 
Genesis Mote, which drop from mobs throughout the zone; 1 x 
Glimmer of Renewal, which drops from Carnivorous Overgrowth mobs at a very low rate; and 1 x 
Leporid Lattice, which can also be purchased from the Auction House if available.
Craft at the Synthesis Forge
Bring the schematic to the Protoform Repository to learn the recipe, then combine all gathered reagents at the Synthesis Forge to craft your Leaping Leporid battle pet.
