Acquire the Sapphire Design
The Jeweled Sapphire Whelpling design for Jewelcrafters, along with 
Glimmering Malygite Cluster crafting reagents, are guaranteed drops from Gem Cluster treasures scattered across the Dragon Isles. Stock up on 
Small Expedition Shovels, as you will need them to dig up treasures — buy or craft a large supply and keep them in your bags.
Gather Crafting Reagents
Once you have the design, collect all required materials: 50x 
Glossy Stone, 1x Glimmering Malygite Cluster, 2x 
Elemental Harmony, 2x 
Malygite, and 1x 
Illimited Diamond. These materials can also be supplied via a work order if you prefer to have a Jewelcrafter craft the pet for you.
Craft the Whelpling
With Jewelcrafting Skill 50 and all reagents in hand, craft the Jeweled Sapphire Whelpling directly, or deliver the reagents through the Dragonflight work order system to have another Jewelcrafter craft it for you.
Tips
The Glimmering Malygite Cluster is the hardest reagent to obtain — see the video guide for a walkthrough on finding the Precious Plans map and looting it from the correct treasure.
The Jeweled Sapphire Whelpling has a varied moveset without strong synergies against any particular pet family, making it more of a collection pet than a competitive battle pet.
