Head to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms to find Golden Civets. They spawn individually or in small groups alongside secondary pets such as kittens and dancing water skimmers, with a respawn time of roughly five to ten minutes.

Golden Civets tend to have aquatic-type secondary pets accompanying them, so bring a strong level 25 rare flying pet to handle the battle efficiently.
Boost Lower Pets With Civets
To use Golden Civets for leveling, lead with the pet you want to gain experience by hitting the civet once, then swap to your level 25 flying pet to finish the fight — the lower pet receives full experience including the difficulty bonus, making this effective for pets around level 15 and above.
