Head to Southern Barrens
Travel to the Southern Barrens, where Emerald Boa spawns as both a primary and secondary pet at level 9. Battles here are two-pet fights, which makes hunting for a rare (blue) quality one faster than in most zones.
Target Adders and Prairie Dogs
Adders and prairie dogs make up the overwhelming majority of battle pet spawns in Southern Barrens, and the Emerald Boa appears as a common secondary in those fights. Spending time in the area, such as near giraffe calf spawns, will regularly produce Emerald Boa secondary encounters.
Try Uldum as an Alternative
The Emerald Boa also spawns as a primary in Uldum. For secondary encounters there, target desert-type pets like dung beetles and horned lizards rather than pets that spawn along the water, as the Emerald Boa appears as a secondary more frequently with desert spawns.
Tips
Avoid spending time hunting Emerald Boa in Northern Barrens — they are rare there compared to Southern Barrens.
The Emerald Boa may be available on the Auction House if you prefer to skip farming.
