Travel to Winterspring
Head to Winterspring in Kalimdor. Despite some sources listing Dun Morogh as a location, multiple players have searched that zone thoroughly without success, while Winterspring has proven to be a reliable location for captures.
Hunt Near Ruins of Kel'Theril
Go to the Ruins of Kel'Theril and engage Alpine Hares in wild pet battles — Crystal Spiders appear as secondary combatants in these fights. Crystal Spiders have also been spotted as directly capturable battle pets around Lake Kel'Theril, so check both areas.
Prioritize Speed When Battling
When using your Crystal Spider in pet battles, speed is essential to maximize Crystal Prison, which costs your opponent two turns when the Crystal Spider moves first and one turn when it moves second. Leech Life pairs well with Crystal Prison since it negates an opponent's move while healing, and in the Web slot, Sticky Web is recommended over Spiderling Swarm due to its better synergy with this tempo-focused playstyle.
