Clouded Hedgehog
Source: Pet Battle. Hedgehogs are not at all fond of croquet nor flamingos. Beast type. A blue hedgehog with the ability to roll into a ball to increase its speed? This couldn't possibly be a reference to anything in particular.
The Clouded Hedgehog is a wild pet found throughout the Dread Wastes in Pandaria, recognizable as a blue hedgehog that rolls into a ball to increase its speed.

Search the Dread Wastes
Travel to the Dread Wastes in Pandaria and look for Clouded Hedgehogs in blue- and green-tinged grassy areas. They are very common throughout the zone but avoid sha-touched land, shorelines, and disturbed encampment ground. Capture one when you encounter it in battle.
Tips
Rare-quality Clouded Hedgehogs are available as of patch 5.1, so continue searching if you want to capture a rare version.
