Find Chickens in the Wild
Chickens appear as wild pets in Redridge Mountains, Elwynn Forest, and Duskwood for Alliance players. These zones are your best option if you want to hunt for a rare quality Chicken directly.
Farm via Secondary Encounters
Horde players can find Chickens as secondary pets during battles against other pets in Dustwallow Marsh, which is conveniently close to Orgrimmar.
Check Tirisfal Glades Graveyard
A single Chicken can spawn as a capturable pet in the graveyard near Brill in Tirisfal Glades, giving Horde players an additional option closer to home.
Tips
Duskwood is a confirmed source for rare quality Chickens based on player reports.
If you only need the Chicken for your collection and are not chasing rare quality, Dustwallow Marsh secondary encounters are a low-level option.
