Head to Kota Peak
Travel to Kota Peak in Kun-Lai Summit, just northwest of Kota Base Camp. Alpine Foxlings spawn here but have a strong tendency to appear as non-battle critters rather than capturable battle pets, so finding a trackable one may take time.
Battle Summit Kids or Kun-Lai Runts
Instead of hunting the Alpine Foxling directly, start battles against Summit Kids or Kun-Lai Runts in the area — the Alpine Foxling can appear as a secondary add in those fights, giving you a chance to catch it.
Tips
The Alpine Foxling is noticeably larger than the Alpine Fox Kit, making it a good choice for players who want a fox companion that is not mouse-sized.
