Guide awaiting review

1

Unlock Firim and Pocopoc

Progress through the Zereth Mortis zone storyline until you unlock Firim and Pocopoc. Once unlocked, speak with Firim to receive the Unstable Containment Trap.

2

Trap 18 Rare Mobs

Use the Unstable Containment Trap on 18 rare mobs across Zereth Mortis. Most of these rares have a single spawn point and a respawn timer of roughly 10 to 30 minutes. The rares and their locations are: Bygone Geomental at 62.4, 74.3; Moss-Choked Guardian at 43.6, 86.5; Gorged Runefeaster at 36.2, 38.5; Dominated Irregular at 48.6, 13.8; Suspicious Nesmin at 35.1, 63.6; Sharpeye Collector at 53.3, 74.9; Runefur at 39.6, 52.1; Bitterbeak at 41.6, 62.3; Corrupted Runehoarder at 47.8, 61.3; Overgrown Geomental at 62, 69; Enchained Servitor at 63, 26.4; Misaligned Enforcer at 57.3, 47.8; Runegorged Bufonid at 50.2, 60.3; Runethief Xy'lora at 62.5, 50; Cipherclad at 38.9, 58.7; Over-charged Vespoid at 64.5, 63.1; Twisted Warpcrafter at 45.2, 22.2.

Claim Your Toy

Upon completing the 'Completing the Code' achievement, the Personal Containment Trap is automatically added directly to your Toy Box rather than your bags — open your Toy Box to find it.

Tips

  • Other players can kill the rare mobs freely, and you only need to land a hit with the Unstable Containment Trap to count the mob toward your progress.

  • Using the Personal Containment Trap applies a debuff that locks you in place for 5 minutes with no way to cancel it early — neither you nor other players can remove it, so use it somewhere safe.
