Complete the Darkmoon Race
Participate in the Darkmoon Faire Real Big Race and complete it within 11 tolls while using a Powermonger to earn the Powermonger: Gold achievement, which rewards Gaze of the Darkmoon.
Use It in PvP
Gaze of the Darkmoon can be applied to opposing players in PvP zones such as Ashran, and notably does not flag you for PvP when used on a player with warmode off — it also does not pull the target as a hostile mob.
Tips
The debuff applied by Gaze of the Darkmoon is a magic debuff, making it useful for baiting enemy healers into wasting a dispel cooldown on a target with no harmful effects.
Applying Gaze of the Darkmoon breaks stealth, so avoid using it on rogues or any stealthed ally nearby.
Hunters can still apply a mark to targets that have Gaze of the Darkmoon on them.
