Obtain the Four Books
You need four inscription offhand books: the red wolf book, the white wolf book, the grey wolf book, and the black wolf book. Each can be crafted with Northrend Inscription or purchased from the Auction House.
Farm Recipes as Horde
If you want to craft the books yourself as Horde, kill humans in the Silverbrook area — Silverbrook Trappers drop the recipes at 26.6, 34.6 in Northrend.
Farm Recipes as Alliance
As Alliance, complete a short quest chain starting from a lieutenant in the Silverbrook area near 26.6, 34.6 to unlock the recipes.
Use Each Book
Activate the use effect on each of the four offhand books to progress the achievement. Each book has a 10-minute cooldown, but since the achievement is account-wide, you can have four different characters each use a different book simultaneously.
Claim the Toy
After completing the achievement, the Compendium of the New Moon will appear directly in your inventory.
