Drops from Zandalari Dinomancer. This unique raptor was born on the island of Zandalar and transported here along with the rest of the Zandalari army. Beast type. If you're going to get one of the 5.2 Zandalari dinos to do some pet battling with, you may be slightly stumped about which one you should go with.
The Zandalari Kneebiter is a dark grey raptor battle pet wearing a troll-style stone helmet, obtained as a rare zone-wide drop in the Isle of Giants during Mists of Pandaria.

Farm the Isle of Giants
Head to the Isle of Giants and kill Zandalari Dinomancers at 38.8, 70.6 — the Zandalari Kneebiter is believed to be a rare zone-wide drop, so any Zandalari mob on the island may have a chance to drop it.
Pick the Right Quality
When you find a Zandalari Kneebiter to capture or keep, look for one with 148 health at level 1 rather than 145, as the higher health variant is the better choice for battling.
Master the Battle Rotation
In pet battles, open with Black Claw to apply the armor debuff, then follow up with Hunting Party — each of its hits receives the Black Claw bonus, dealing 200–300 damage per hit on the first use and around 300–700 per hit once the double-damage debuff stacks up. A P/P breed Kneebiter gets the most out of this combo, and this is the only Zandalari pet with Black Claw, Hunting Party, and Bloodfang all available at once.
Tips
The Zandalari Kneebiter's stone troll-style helmet is part of its in-game model and not a player-equipped item.
