Travel to the Wetlands
Head to the Wetlands and make your way to at 68, 47.2, where Ebon Slavehunters and Dragonmaw Whelpstealers are locked in constant combat with each other.
AOE Down the Mobs
Around 4 Ebon Slavehunters spawn at this spot at a time, but nearby groups will rush in after finishing their own fights, so use AOE on a high-level character to mow them down continuously with almost no downtime between spawns.
Loot and Keep Farming
The Tiny Crimson Whelpling has an extremely low drop rate — one player recorded over 37,500 kills before seeing it drop — so be prepared for an extended farm session at at 68, 47.2; having the Skinning profession allows you to clear Ebon Slavehunter corpses faster, though it is not required.
Tips
The
Dark Whelpling can also drop from Ebon Whelps in the Wetlands, so you have a chance at two different whelpling pets while farming this spot. The Tiny Crimson Whelpling is tradeable and can also be found on the Auction House if farming is not your preference.
