Travel to Crumbling Depths
Head to the Crumbling Depths in Deepholm. Jadefang spawns inside a blind elevated cavern at 61.2, 22.4 in Deepholm, located adjacent to the elevated ledge where Pebble stands during Therazane dailies.
Reach the elevated cavern
To enter Jadefang's cavern, you need a method to propel yourself from the Pebble ledge across to the cavern entrance. The daily quest Underground Economy, picked up from Ricket at the Crumbling Depths entrance, provides explosives you can use to launch yourself to the ledge. Alternatively, Night Elf characters can use Wisp Spirit after dying to reach the cavern.
Defeat Jadefang for drop
Once inside the cavern at 61.2, 22.4 in Deepholm, defeat Jadefang. The Tiny Shale Spider is not a guaranteed drop, so you may need to wait for Jadefang to respawn and try again on subsequent visits.
Tips
The P/S breed of Tiny Shale Spider has notably higher speed than the Emerald Shale Hatchling in the same breed, trading a small amount of health for that speed advantage in pet battles.
