Tideskipper
Drops from Morogrim Tidewalker. An astounding find for the scientific community of Azeroth, who have long pondered, often in taverns, what a baby Sea Giant might look like. Aquatic type. So I'm noticing that this pet, like many other BC raid pets(haven't collected them all yet) has a bit of a unique little idle animation.
Tideskipper is a baby Sea Giant battle pet taught by the
Shell of Tide-Calling, which drops from Morogrim Tidewalker in the Burning Crusade raid Serpentshrine Cavern.
Guide awaiting review
Enter Serpentshrine Cavern
Head into Serpentshrine Cavern and make your way to Morogrim Tidewalker at 59.6, 26.0. He is the fifth boss of the raid, and you can reach him without defeating all prior bosses — just watch out for the fish patrolling the area.
Defeat Morogrim Tidewalker
Defeat Morogrim Tidewalker at 59.6, 26.0 on both Normal and Heroic 25-man difficulty, as each run gives you an additional chance at the Shell of Tide-Calling drop.
Learn the Pet
Loot the Shell of Tide-Calling from Morogrim Tidewalker and use it to add Tideskipper to your collection. Tideskipper counts toward the Raiding with Leashes II: Attunement Edition achievement, which rewards the
Tito's Basket upon completion.
Choose Your Breed Wisely
Tideskipper comes in three breeds, all of which favor Health to some degree, and has an Aquatic typing with a mix of Humanoid, Aquatic, and Elemental moves. For PvE pet battles, Crush is the stronger first-slot ability due to its high Humanoid damage, while Grasp is better for PvP thanks to its perfect hit chance and rooting effect.
Tips
Serpentshrine Cavern resets weekly, so you can run both Normal and Heroic 25-man each reset for two chances at the Shell of Tide-Calling per week.
