Buy the Rodent Crate
Purchase a Rodent Crate for 2000 Lion's Landing Commission (Alliance) or Domination Point Commission (Horde) from your faction's commission vendor in Krasarang Wilds.
Use the Crate at Domination Point
Use the Rodent Crate at Domination Point — regardless of where exactly you activate it, Sumprush Rodents will spawn in the main camp of Domination Point. Consider alerting other players in Trade or General chat beforehand, as the spawn is zone-wide and benefits everyone.
Battle Rodents for 20 Minutes
Once the crate is activated, Sumprush Rodents spawn for 20 minutes at levels 24 or 25, with exactly five pets active at a time — a new one spawns immediately after each battle ends. After 20 minutes they stop spawning but do not disappear, so you can finish any ongoing battle. In 28 battles one player recorded 3 rare-quality catches.
Note the Safari Achievement
The Sumprush Rodent is not required for the Safari achievement, so catching any quality works if your only goal is to add it to your collection.
Tips
The Rodent Crate triggers a zone-wide alert, so other players can benefit from your spawn — and you can benefit from theirs.
Secondary pets that appear alongside the Sumprush Rodent are always the same level as the Rodent and consist of other catchable pets from Krasarang Wilds.
