Stonewhisker is a wild battle pet found in Zaralek Cavern during the Dragonflight expansion, captured through pet battles in the wild.

Head to Zaralek Cavern
Travel to Zaralek Cavern and focus your search west of Glitterspore Lake at 52, 45 or around 52, 37. Additional spawn locations can be found at 43, 70 and 44, 70. Stonewhiskers appear uncommonly but tend to spawn in groups in these areas.
Force Pet Battle Respawns
If no pet battles are visible, use a /tar Stonewhisker macro to locate nearby Stonewhiskers and kill the non-battle versions until they respawn as pet battles. Running through the cavern repeatedly in the marked areas can help trigger fresh spawns.
Hunt the White Stonewhisker
The default Stonewhisker skin is yellow, but an extremely rare white-skinned variant exists. White Stonewhiskers are very rarely spawned as capturable pet battles — one player reported 18 hours of searching before finding a battle-ready white variant. Realm hopping between servers can help locate one faster.
Tips
The white Stonewhisker can occasionally appear among the mobs spawned by the Stampede ability, though this is very rare.
The first confirmed capturable white Stonewhisker found by a player was a B/B breed, so do not hold out exclusively for a specific breed.
