Name Your Larvae
During the quest chain, you are given the opportunity to name your larvae from a selection of names: Spike, Reginald, Bitey McStabface, and Fluffy — though the names are presented in Shath'yar.
Your Name Choice Is Permanent
Whatever name you choose for your larvae carries over permanently to the Shadowbarb Hatchling — when summoned, it will always display the name you selected, and attempting to rename it will revert back to your chosen name.
Complete the Pet Battle Quest
The quest chain includes a pet battle quest called 'Someone His Own Size' — note that this quest is part of the chain and must be completed to progress, so factor it into your day count if the questline is time-gated.
