Mini Mindslayer is a Magic-quality battle pet added in Patch 5.1 as part of the Raiding With Leashes achievement, obtained as a drop from AQ40 (Temple of Ahn'Qiraj).

Enter Temple of Ahn'Qiraj
Travel to Temple of Ahn'Qiraj and clear through to the Twin Emperors section, as Mini Mindslayer drops from the Qiraji Mindslayer trash mobs found in the packs after the Twin Emperors encounter.
Defeat Qiraji Mindslayer Packs
Clear the Qiraji Mindslayer trash packs — these are the mobs the pet is named after and references in its flavor text, and the drop rate has been described as not too bad.
Level Past Level 10
Once you have the pet, be aware that Mini Mindslayer performs poorly at low pet levels since its first three abilities are weak, but becomes significantly more effective from level 10 onward when it gains stronger attacks — leveling it near flying critters speeds up the process.
Use Life Exchange Strategically
At higher levels, Mini Mindslayer's top ability, Life Exchange, equalizes your pet's health with the opponent's, making it a strong recovery tool when a battle has gone poorly.
