Gale Spirit
Drops from Docile Airy Soul. When it was the wind, this spirit carried scents to every corner of Azeroth. Sometimes you can still smell on it the barest hint of food, smoke, or... Elemental type. In order to capture a soul with (crafted by ), the elemental must die while casting (crafted by ).
The 
Gale Spirit is a battle pet from the Dragonflight expansion, obtained by opening a 
Docile Airy Soul, which is captured from a Stormbound Colossus using the soul-capturing crafting process.

Craft Soul Capture Tools
To capture an airy soul, you will need a 
Empty Soul Cage and a 
Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler — both are crafted items required for the capture process.
Locate the Stormbound Colossus
Head to The Storm Scar in Ohn'ahran Plains. There are two Stormbound Colossus mobs to target: one patrols at 24.77, 37.42 and another can be found at 24.23, 39.43. Before pulling either, clear the non-elite mobs standing between the Stormbound Colossus and the NPCs at 26.02, 38.75, or they will all aggro on you.
Kite Colossus to NPCs
Pull the Stormbound Colossus and kite it toward the NPCs at 26.02, 38.75 in The Storm Scar — the NPC at 24.23, 39.43 has a tendency to leash, so keep hitting it while kiting to prevent it from resetting.
Capture the Airy Soul
Once the Stormbound Colossus is dying, activate the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler while using the Empty Soul Cage — use dots and stuns to prevent abilities that may interrupt the cast. This will yield an 
Encaged Airy Soul.
Wait for Soul to Settle
Do not open the Encaged Airy Soul immediately — wait for the 15-minute timer to expire, at which point it will become a Docile Airy Soul. Opening it gives a chance at the 
Airy Soul, which contains the Gale Spirit pet, though the majority of openings will yield the elemental crafting reagent instead.
Expect a Long Grind
Drop rates from Docile Airy Soul are not guaranteed — one player reported receiving the Gale Spirit after 263 attempts, while another received it after just 21 attempts. If the grind feels too long, the Gale Spirit may be available for purchase on the Auction House.
Tips
One player found success pulling the Stormbound Colossus at 24.77, 37.42 to the NPCs at 26.02, 38.75 in The Storm Scar, Ohn'ahran Plains, as the NPCs assist in killing the elemental during the soul-capture process.
