Guide awaiting review
Enter Wailing Caverns
Head into Wailing Caverns and proceed to the first large cave inside the instance, where both Deviate Guardians and Deviate Ravagers are found.
Clear the upper raptor area
Make a circuit around the upper area above the river, killing all raptors — approximately 30 per run — and looting each one. Lady Anacondra also spawns in this area and can be killed along the way.
Reset and repeat
After completing the circuit, leave the instance and reset it. Be aware of the five-instance-per-hour limit, which applies account-wide regardless of which character you use.
Pick up available quests
The quests Deviate Eradication and Deviate Hides both require killing Deviate Ravagers, giving you additional objectives to complete during each farming run.
Tips
Player data suggests the pet tends to drop within 5 to 10 full clears, with an estimated drop rate around 0.5% based on approximately 30 raptors per run.
