The Woodbiter Piculet is a wild battle pet found in Ohn'ahran Plains and The Azure Span during the Dragonflight expansion, available in two color variants with the white version being extremely rare.

Hunt Standalone Piculets
Search for the Woodbiter Piculet as a standalone frontline pet in Ohn'ahran Plains at 61.7, 23.7, at 61.44, 24, and at 58.77, 23.86, as well as at 64.08, 61.85 and at 65.53, 60.53. These spawn as H/P breed and are common quality.
Farm Secondaries in Azure Span
The Woodbiter Piculet also appears as a secondary pet in The Azure Span. Look for it in battles against a Swoglet at 40.98, 31.79, against Arctic Hares and similar pets in the snow around 49.70, 36.80, and against Azure Crystalspine. The area around 19, 43 in The Azure Span also consistently produces it as a secondary.
Reset for the White Variant
The white variant of the Woodbiter Piculet has roughly a 1 in 99 chance of appearing, while the blue variant appears the vast majority of the time. When you find a Woodbiter Piculet as a secondary pet, you can forfeit and restart the battle repeatedly until the white version appears. Bring two Woodbiter Piculets as your backline pets to help sustain your team, and heal your party every few restarts to keep your pets healthy through the many resets this process can require.
Tips
The white variant can take well over 100 battle resets to obtain, so secondary pet encounters are the most reliable farming method since you can reset without losing the spawn.
