Find and Capture Waterfly
Travel to Draenor and search for Waterfly as a wild pet spawn. Engage it in a pet battle to capture it.
Aim for P/B Breed
The P/B breed at rare quality level 25 has 1465 HP, 273 Power, and 289 Speed, making it a strong choice for battle.
Learn Its Ability Set
Waterfly uses Alpha Strike, which deals 219 flying damage plus an additional 146 if it strikes first; Healing Stream, which heals 351 HP and half that amount to aquatic allies; and Dodge, which raises dodge chance by 100% for the first round.
Tips
The flying type perk grants 50% bonus speed while above 50% HP, so using Dodge in the first round typically guarantees Waterfly acts first, causing it to dodge both the current round and the following round.
A level 21 blue-quality Waterfly with Alpha Strike, Healing Stream, and Dodge can defeat groups of level 24-25 wild pets in Shadowmoon Valley without needing heals between battles.
