Hunt in the Wetlands
Water Snakes are found in large numbers in the southern part of the Wetlands, with confirmed rare spawns just outside Menethil Harbor.
Search near Greenwarden's Grove
A Water Snake can appear as a secondary pet in battles against other creatures, such as a Black Rat, in the area south-west of Greenwarden's Grove in the Wetlands.
Try Twilight Highlands secondaries
Water Snakes do not spawn as primary pets in Twilight Highlands, but can appear as secondary pets in battles there, potentially at levels 21-22 if captured.
Check Stranglethorn Vale
Water Snakes also spawn in Stranglethorn Vale, with a confirmed rare capture at level 8 with 511 health, 87 power, and 98 speed.
Tips
All Water Snake abilities are weak against flyers, so using a flying pet is effective when battling one for capture.
