Travel to Terokkar Forest
The Warpstalker Hatchling spawns throughout Terokkar Forest and appears only as a primary battle pet — it is never found as a secondary or tertiary pet in another battle.
Hunt for a Rare quality
Rare quality spawns are exceptionally uncommon; players have reported fighting close to 300 individual pets across multiple days without encountering a single rare, while green (uncommon) quality appears relatively frequently.
Manage the respawn cycle
Clearing all Warpstalker Hatchlings from the zone leaves it sparse for roughly 15 to 30 minutes, so alternating between two realms after each full clear allows more spawns to be available per session.
