Gain Unseeming Shift buff
Click on a Black Blood Extractor at 61.6, 83.9 in Azj-Kahet to gain 5 stacks of the Unseeming Shift debuff. Accumulate at least 50 stacks by standing in slime puddles or clicking multiple extractors, as this buff is required to see the Voidling Ooze battle pet.
Locate Voidling Ooze
With the Unseeming Shift buff active, travel to Azj-Kahet where Voidling Ooze spawns at 60.8, 74.6, 65.8, 79.2, or 63.6, 89. They may appear as backline pets near a Chitin Burrower at 54, 39 or in the Mmarl town area.
Capture the pet
Engage a tamable Voidling Ooze in battle and capture it using your standard pet battle mechanics. If no tamable versions are present, defeat untamable ones until tamable versions spawn.
Tips
Voidling Ooze appears as a backline pet more reliably than as a frontline pet in the open world, making it easier to locate near other creatures like the Chitin Burrower.
