Umbral Amalgam
Source: Pet Battle. These swarms of void energy cannot persist in Beledar's light. Magic type. Found one as backline pet in Hallowfall. (During Dark Time.) I've also found one as a backline pet in northern parts of Ringing Deeps.
The Umbral Amalgam is a wild battle pet found in Hallowfall and the Ringing Deeps during the dark (void) phase, though its spawns have been reported as bugged since patch 11.0.5.

Wait for Dark Phase
The Umbral Amalgam only appears during the dark (void) phase in Hallowfall. It will not spawn during Beledar's light phase, so time your search accordingly.
Search Hallowfall Spawn Locations
Check these confirmed Hallowfall spawn points during the void phase: at 46.2, 31.6; at 58.8, 34.2; at 61.8, 44.2; at 61.6, 46.0; at 63.2, 49.0; at 72.0, 45.8; at 58.8, 49.2; at 54.2, 52.0; at 48.4, 59.0; at 46.2, 31.8; and at 47.5, 61.7. The Umbral Amalgam can appear as a backline pet in battles at these locations, not necessarily as the primary pet.
Check Northern Ringing Deeps
If you have no luck in Hallowfall, the Umbral Amalgam has also been found as a backline pet in the northern parts of the Ringing Deeps during the dark phase.
Avoid Void Portal Ability
Before attempting to capture the Umbral Amalgam, check whether it has Void Portal selected in its second ability slot. Void Portal allows the pet to kill itself, making capture impossible. If it has Void Portal, forfeit the battle, heal your battle pets, and re-engage until it has a different ability such as Clean-Up in that slot instead. Players have reported needing to forfeit and re-engage up to five times before getting a capturable version.
