Tobias is a dog companion pet obtained by looting all 10 Community Rumor Mill Satchels during the Secrets of Azeroth event in Dragonflight, rewarding you with the pet item and its associated achievement upon collecting the final satchel.
Guide awaiting review
Collect All 10 Satchels
Locate and loot all 10 Community Rumor Mill Satchels across the Secrets of Azeroth event. Some of the satchels require specific toys obtained from the Secrets of Azeroth event to access, and they can be collected in any order.
Claim Tobias From Bags
After looting the 10th satchel, the pet item will appear directly in your bags. If your bags are full at the time, check your in-game mailbox to retrieve it.
Receive Pet on Alt Characters
Once you earn the achievement on your main character, logging into any alternate character for the first time afterward will place the Tobias pet item in that character's bags, or in the mailbox if bags are full.
Summon and Enjoy Tobias
When summoned, Tobias barks and wears a hat at all times — unlike his depiction in the in-game book. He barks more frequently when idle near other Tobias pets, and also barks when clicked.
Tips
Each character on your account receives the Tobias pet item upon their first login after the achievement is earned, so you will accumulate multiple copies across your alts.
