Hunt Toads in Howling Fjord
High-level Toads appear as secondary pets during battles on the west side of Howling Fjord — fight Rabbits, Rats, and Fjord Rats in that area to encounter them.
Upgrade to Uncommon quality
A common Toad has 462 health at level 7, while an uncommon reaches 551 health at level 8, so aim to capture or upgrade to at least uncommon quality.
Use Toad against Unborn Val'kyr
The Toad's HP breed is the only frog HP breed with speed above 244, meaning it naturally outpaces even the fastest Unborn Val'kyr without sacrificing stats, making it the top frog choice for pet PvP against that opponent.
Tips
Frogs including the Toad are the best family for countering Undead-type pets in pet battles.
