Wait for Elemental Storm
The Storm-Touched Bluefeather only appears in Thaldraszus during active Elemental Storm events. Fire Storms at Tyrhold Reservoir are a reliable trigger, and a portal at Temporal Conflux during storms can take you to the Primalist Future where large numbers of these pets spawn.
Head to Tyrhold Reservoir
Travel to Tyrhold Reservoir in Thaldraszus once a storm is active. Known spawn locations are at 58.21, 59.77 and at 58.17, 58.12. The birds fly around and are not stationary, so check the surrounding area around each point.
Search Additional Spawn Points
Storm-Touched Bluefeathers have been found at multiple locations across Thaldraszus: at 44.13, 63.54, at 50.59, 46.47, at 61.25, 62.04, at 62.25, 61.22, at 61.02, 62.01, at 53.68, 39.27, at 39.41, 43.51, at 43.43, 49.11, and at 12.21, 80.81. Killing non-battle versions of the bird at these spots can cause battle pet versions to spawn in their place.
Battle at Level 1
Storm-Touched Bluefeathers spawn as Level 1 battle pets. Bring a pet with Weakening Blow or a similar ability that cannot kill the target outright, such as a Terrible Turnip, to avoid accidentally killing the pet before capture. A low-level pet also works as an alternative.
Tips
Storm-Touched pets are zone-specific — Storm-Touched Bluefeather is tied to Thaldraszus, while other Storm-Touched variants appear in Ohn'ahran Plains, The Azure Span, and The Waking Shores.
