Stone Armadillo
From Critter Kill Squad. When these sleepy critters aren't snoozing, they use their massive claws to dig for tasty insect snacks. Critter type. These creatures spawn in and around the 'dry riverbanks' that run throughout the zone.
The Stone Armadillo is a wild critter pet found in Desolace that can only be captured at night, when it emerges from the dry riverbeds to wander.

Travel to Desolace
Head to Desolace in Kalimdor and locate the dry riverbeds that run throughout the zone, as Stone Armadillos spawn along and around these areas.
Wait for Nighttime Spawns
Stone Armadillos only appear after the in-game sun goes down, which varies by server but is generally around 8–9 PM server time. Once night falls, they become fairly common spawns along the dry riverbeds.
Capture Your Armadillo
Engage a Stone Armadillo in a pet battle and capture it. Note that Stone Armadillos are noticeably larger than the Armadillo Pup guild reputation pet.
Tips
Spawn time is tied to the actual in-game sunset rather than a fixed clock time, so the exact hour can shift depending on the season simulated in-game.
