Sporeling Sprout
Source: Pet Battle. These pudgy little beings often get themselves into trouble while hunting down their favorite snack: glow caps. Humanoid type. So we're going to Sporeggar, siccing vicious animals on the children, putting them in cages and kidnapping them.
The Sporeling Sprout is a wild humanoid pet found in Outland that must be captured through a pet battle at Sporeggar village.
Guide awaiting review
Travel to Sporeggar Village
Head to Sporeggar village in Zangarmarsh, where the Sporeling Sprout spawns. Check for a new spawn roughly every 15 minutes.
Battle and capture the pet
The Sporeling Sprout typically appears alongside one or two snakes and/or toads. Bring a team of three level 25 pets, including one with a critter-based mid-powered attack, to safely damage it without killing it before you can capture it.
Hunt for a P/P breed
This pet can roll any of the 10 breeds, making a rare P/P extremely unlikely to find naturally. Look for a P/P in any quality and upgrade it with a battle-stone, since it has a damage reduction ability and a move that always goes first, both of which make Power the most beneficial stat.
Collect Glowcaps while waiting
While camping spawns, gather
Glowcaps scattered around the area. These are tradeable and can be sold on the Auction House to collectors.
Tips
Sporeling Sprout is one of only three humanoid pets that can be captured via pet battle, alongside Flayer Youngling and Qiraji Guardling.
After patch 5.2, forfeiting a pet battle deals 10% max health damage to your pets and no longer despawns the wild pet, so fighting rather than forfeiting is recommended.
